The world is becoming more and more unstable. Many resources become more scarce, people are exploited by globally operating banks and other big corporations, our environment is being destroyed, and many of the wealthier of us are dealing with stress and other psychological problems. Of course, just using solar energy and other sustainable forms of energy cannot solve all these problems, but it is an important component. Me and my team are working on much more holistic solutions, including topics like automation, cooperation and efficient use of resources, but solar energy is not only a starting point for such more sophisticated systems, but probably their core.
Who am I? My name is Andreas Huemer, born in Linz, Austria, now living in Brisbane, Australia. I love nature, science and technology. My passions include sports and travelling. I have worked as a software engineer for many years, and I have a PhD in computational intelligence. I sincerely hope that we can make life better for everyone, because then I can enjoy living in a safe, beautiful and happy environment.
